My Blueshirt Heaven

SFC: Your blog’s name is: My Blueshirt Heaven: c’mon, being a Rangers’ fan isn’t really divine?
MBH: My season tickets are in the “blue” seats (400 level of Madison Square Garden). That’s where the “real” fans sit, up in heaven. Hence the title of the blog.
SFC: Which team is the ost hated by Rangers’ fan: Devils or the Islanders?
MBH: Right now since the Islanders are shell, I would say the Devils. When the Islanders are contenders, it goes back to them. Hey, lately Ranger fans have been really hating on the Habs. ![]()
SFC: By the end of the year, will Glen Sather still be the Blueshirts GM and are you pleased with his work so far?
MBH: Yes, Uncle Glen will have the job until he doesn’t want it anymore. When Sather first got here he tried to by a Championship team with high priced free agents. Now, thanks mostly to Donny Maloney and Tom Renney we have some good kids in the system and we’ve made the playoffs every year since the lockkout. Re Sather, better the Devil we know, eh?
SFC: Which Rangers’ player is your best kept secret, one that the NHL planet does not know about?
MBH: I like Blair Betts. The guy is a human penalty killing machine, You can’t discount the value of a good checking line.
