“Brack Obama: Sports have always been a central part of my life. Growing up, I learned about competition and teamwork on the basketball court, and these days I try to get in a pickup game whenever I can. If I’m fortunate enough to move into the White House, I’d consider putting in a basketball court.”

“Methot, when asked about looming final roster cuts and the prospects of being claimed off waivers by another club, said:

“If the (Blue Jackets) want to hold on to me, they can. And if not, good riddance. I’ll go somewhere else. That’s the bottom line.”

Et Chris Chelios qui ne vote pas. Bof…

“I never vote, I don’t want to get into politics,” Chelios said. “I’ve always had the mentality that once a president gets elected, whether it’s a Democrat or Republican, he’s the president so you follow his lead. My wife votes for the family, not that I agree with her all the time.
